1. URS At Fatehpur Sikri
The Urs of Saint Sheikh SalimChisti is an event in the month of August where all people irrespective of their caste and religion participate. The festival is marked with religious fervor and musical renditions make the event unique. There is also a special function called ‘Badhaawa’ where single person sings without instrument. People from all over the world come to offer prayers. Hot meat is served to the people. It is an annual event which has started from the days of Akbar.

This festival is also known as ‘Feast Of Sacrifice’ and is one of the most majot festival celebrated in the month of October in Fatehpur Sikri. Sacrifice is a part of this festival. It is celebrated from the time of Mughals by special gifts, greetings and prayers. Sweets are distributed to the people present. Not only Muslims but people from other religion also attend the festival. It is an annual event and is held according to Muslim rituals.
