Buland Darwaza “The Gate of Victory”

Buland Darwaza or ‘The Gate of Victory’ is the main entrance to the palace at Fatehpur Sikri, 43km from Agra, India. It was built by Mughal Emperor Akbar to celebrate his victory over Gujarat. It is the highest gateway in the world and an outstanding example of the Mughal architecture.
